I think the driving fear here is that it’s not all Republicans and Independents on this Trump ‘wagon’. There’s probably 10-to-20 percent of Democrats who were willing to vote Trump, instead of Hillary or Biden. In that type of environment, it hinders the entire party and various levels.
I will add this...DeSantis is the same ‘brand’ and the whole Democratic Party has a problem finding quality candidates to go against either Trump or DeSantis.
The only kind of candidates the Democrats can find are those that want to be president for their own profit.
Being Democrat these days precludes being a good candidate.
Quality candidates? I can’t think of one Democrat at the federal level who has achieve the level of simpleton, never mind the candidates.
