The sport where I’d expect to see more issues would be hockey but have not heard much about hockey players dropping
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%:
I’m very familiar with soccer and I played ice hockey right through college. Soccer is much more physically demanding on your heart. In ice hockey your gliding a lot and you also get a shift break every minute or so. In soccer you only propel yourself with your own feet. Jogging or sprinting out there for 45 minutes straight. With no break. And then another 45 minutes.
I was comparing hockey more to basketball and football.
You’re right about the length of play and the effort involved.
