The Cubanadian was given no quarter. Cruz’s excuses were ridiculous. He said what he said on purpose and it was despicable.
I have to wonder why he went on Tucker. He should have known he was going to get a brutal spanking.

I’ve always trusted Ted Cruz and still support him. He has done a great job for Texas.
That said, he went on Tucker Carlson tonight and Tucker flamed his @$$ but good. I believe Ted when he says he screwed up using those words and I believe his explanation.
Not many will endure what Tucker gave him tonight. I mean it was brilliant how Tucker held Ted’s feet to the fire.

Nothing happened to him. He’s the same Cruz he’s always been. Remember his insinuations that Trump was promoting violence at his rallies during the primaries? Remember how he gave a speech at the convention and refused to endorse the party nominee? Cruz puts career above all else. His supposed principles are all an act.

That’s not the point. Cruz saying that helps them smear all Republicans with being terrorists and insurrectionists.
I am not good at quoting what I am replying to. So take this as a comment on the Democrats killing themselves...
I agree that the Dems are doing everything they can with a very slim majority, but as is usually the case, that means that as they do things, things go wrong. Tell me what they did that has worked. I have not seen anything. For the most part, when the Dems get their way, they make things worse. You are correct that the election is still to far in the future to really know what is going to happen.
