"The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg described being shocked Wednesday when she learned she tested positive for coronavirus during the show's break for the Christmas and New Year holidays.
During a remote appearance on the program while isolating at home, Goldberg declared that she was surprised when she received the positive test result because, according to her, she had been taking every necessary precaution to avoid contracting the virus.
"I left a couple of weeks ago, just before the break, because somebody I had been around tested positive for coronavirus, so I left. So I've been gone a long time, I feel," Goldberg said.
"And I was all excited and, you know, they have to test us, and so they sent people to test me, and they tested me, and it was like, ‘Oh no you’re not coming back. We’re not sending anybody to your house. You have corona.’ And it was like, wait what?" she added.

Even the CDC has given up, they have put their covid 19 recomendations to the same timeline and testing the low risk groups to the same stance as the common cold or common Flu in 2019. They are figuring Omicron is 85% likely what a carrier is spreading so the R0 rate is insanely high but the deaths are at the same place we were in Sept of 2021 when 1/15 of the population had delta. Spend a few days semi active at home and return to work, play, school 3 days after the fever breaks. The labor unions and progressives get one last dance, then we get to personally judge the cost vs benefits for lockdowns, masks, remote learning and being assholes to family members who were doing their own thing.

Time for an update on the fanatic pro vaxx lefty relative.
Took vax number two several months ago and got super ill with severe pain.
Hospital one couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her after lots of tests.
Sent her home.
More severe pain—then goes to bigger urban hospital number two.
They conduct more tests and still can’t figure out what is wrong with her.
They send her home where she has been miserable for months now.
Now—says she is depressed because medical system does not work “like it is supposed to”...
Imho—if she had not gotten the second vaxx she would not be in this situation...
You are probably right. Offhand, I don’t remember hearing about any deepstate politicians or big name, woke Hollywood elite dying from covid.
