The Son killing her does not fit with Ramseys behavior after she was dead. I can’t say what a parent might do if one child killed another but I can say what they would not do.

They would not make a garot and strangle their dead daughter, put tape on her mouth, molest her with a paint brush and then leave her body in the basement. They also would not have the presence of mind to write a five page ransom note which included movie quotes. Last but not least they would not ask for a relatively small ransom, normal people would ask for a normal ransom like 1 million. Who ever wrote the note was asking for an amount they knew the Ramseys had in the bank.

I'm completely with you in your way of thinking.

On the other hand, I don't think enough attention was paid to the housekeeper and her husband.

Silliness. A kidnapper is doing all that, on Christmas eve. And sits down at the kitchen table with paper and pen he gets at the house, and THEN writes his 5 page ransom note?
Please...
And why write a note at all? If it was a kidnapping, you come with the note or send it later.
If you accidently kill her, why leave the note if you leave the body in the house?

The Dad set up the “crime scene” to cover for his son. Then they flew away as fast as they could. Patsy went along with it but it ate her up inside. And the brother, smirking through that interview.

He did it, the parents hid it.
