“Omicron is here,” Ghaly said in a briefing to reporters Wednesday. “We can’t abandon the tools that we’ve used to achieve our collective success throughout this pandemic.”

And what freaking success would that be. Still wearing masks, still social distancing, still needing vaccinations, still needing boosters, schools still shut down. Great "collective success" you overpaid moron.

Where is “The Science” justifying this?

The legal authority?

Because they worked so well the last 45 times that it makes perfect sense to mandate them once again.

There is none so blind who WILL NOT see.

Those who believe in masks also think that swimming suits protect them from pee in the pool.

I don’t care! I live in El Dorado Hills and will not wear a mask. I go to places that do not ask you to wear a diaper on your face.

Hey Newsom Fu$K you!

Over 150 studies find that wearing masks makes no difference stopping the spread of the China virus

Rumble — As governors rush to reimpose mask mandates to fight the mild Omicron variant, hundreds of studies find that wearing masks does little to nothing to protect you from the coronavirus. One America's Pearson Sharp has more.

CAL/OSHA has put out directives for California employers that requires masks indoors through April 15. This ain’t ending soon.

Oh, good. More discarded filthy masks strewn about in parking lots, along the streets and eventually into the ocean.

Yeah it used to be beer cans and condoms on the rural roadside. Now it’s masks.

If they wanted to play “games” and host the Super Bowl, should extend it until February 11, announce that the Super Bowl will be mask free. Then when it’s done, they can extend it once again.

I returned to the Bay Area on Monday after being away for six months. The pall and gloom over everybody in town is palpable. Safeway and Draeger’s Supermarket both asked me to put on a mask. Two restaurants, a hardware store, Walgreens, and Starbucks did not.

About 97% of people outdoors on the street are masked. An Indian couple went into the street to avoid passing by me on the sidewalk. It’s like April 2020 all over again. It is SO weird!

Six months in Idaho was great. There, you find people getting on with their lives as normal human beings.

I was talking to a good friend driving through Berkeley a few hours ago. His description of gloom matches yours, almost word for word.

That’s good to hear because I thought maybe it was just me.

I just got back from shopping at Target and got a sandwich at McDonalds. Tempers are short and anger is flaring all over the place.
