Actually he is negotiating on 2 parts of that legislation to reduce the cost sharply in order to pass them perhaps as a separate bill.
His position on the bill as being hyper inflationary could not have changed based on the recent numbers and I give it a 1 in 1000 chance of his flipping on this after what he has publicly said. To do so would end his political career.
As usual the headline does not support the story.
