5 milligrams of percocet, half in the AM and half in the PM might do the trick. Sometimes a nasty cough is a self-perpetuating thing, even long after your body has fought off the disease that caused it. Opioid medications kill the urge to cough and allow your airways to get some healing rest. I always hoard them when I can get my hands on some, along with any prednisone that comes my way.
