Craig Spencer, a Manhattan ER doctor affiliated with Columbia University who became a Twitter superstar in the early days of the pandemic for his running commentary on the battle against the virus, tweeted a detailed breakdown late Sunday of what omicron cases look like.

5 milligrams of percocet, half in the AM and half in the PM might do the trick. Sometimes a nasty cough is a self-perpetuating thing, even long after your body has fought off the disease that caused it. Opioid medications kill the urge to cough and allow your airways to get some healing rest. I always hoard them when I can get my hands on some, along with any prednisone that comes my way.

I watched covid roll through nursing homes in my area and 60 percent of my staff get covid long before the vax.
I too can post e experiential data. Most ofthose surbived.
Wish i could say the same for the many i know and the many we are tracking here who have vax injuries.
Naturally acquired immunity to COVID, esp. in mild cases, probably lasts no longer than naturally acquired immunity to flu.
Why would it? If anything, the mutation rate / behavior would suggest LESS durability of naturally acquired COVID immunity, than flu.

Aside from your 1st source’s misinformation, a larger point is that S. Korea had very low rates of COVID and COVID fatalities due to an Orwellian surveillance and tracking of their population that Americans can scarcely imagine. This doesn’t make them “right”, it just makes your post highly disingenuous, by leaving out the most important factor...
Now, will their tracking system hold up with the new, highly infectious Omicron to swamp it? It’s not looking great...
At least Omicron’s CFR looks to be less than prior variants. However, this is just a fluke. Contrary to popular misinformation, COVID’s infection characteristic and CFR (even Delta among the unvaccinated) is not such as to drive variants to lower CFR. Below 5% or so, the next variant’s CFR is essentially random.
That goes against the huge Israeli study from last summer that showed natural immunity was 27 times more robust than any immunity from the vaccine.
Opioids can also suppress your ability to breathe in too high of a dose.

I had Covid, and got all three jabs. And will get the fourth (etc.) if recommended. Like a flu shot, or any of the numerous shots the military made me get over and over. That does not mean I support forcing others to get them.
One point of the article is that the unvaxxed are a large part of hospitalizations. That is the “science”, albeit somewhat anecdotal to this one doc and his experience with patients. Just as it is with my wife. I will say this, though. I will take what she says about Covid EVERY DAY over what people in here say about it. She lived elbow deep in the virus from the day it struck, and is educated, and is a direct source for the “science” of its treatment.
True, and if you're taking them on your own you have no one to sue but yourself if anything goes wrong! In my case, I don't do more than 2.5 milligrams of percocet at a time, which is a very small dose, and only in really bad cases.
Exactly! So it’s considered ok for ’them’ to prescribe Azithromycin for off label use (to thousands of people - Lord only knows what effect that will have on bacterial superbugs for which we have NO new defenses in antibacterial arsenal), but if anyone who is NOT ‘THEM’ tries to prescribe Ivermectin for off label use, they are shut down and vilified and have livelihood threatened. It’s a mad mad world. I wish hadn’t lived this long.
Why are people who have had a 3rd booster and mild symptoms such as sore throat going to the ER?
I applaud your informed response to the shot fears on this forum.I am 84 and very healthy. Convinced that I was immune to any virus that would come my way and bounce back, I still got the shots and booster scheduled for 400 of us in our retirement community..Another 200 or so imployees are required to get shots.we are informed every month of the very few cases in independent living, assisted living, nursing home, memory unit residents and workers.we are in Florida and so are honestly informed..
Got the flu shots also, even though I resisted often during my 22 AF years..My daughter in Maine is a nurse. Yet her husband and one son are anti van. Her other son has a father-in-law who is an epidemiologist and two baby boys so he and mommy got the shots.
I guess we believe what we want to and many here can’t stand to hear another opinion. Thanks again for yours.
