Every case is different. Not all stage 4 cancers are the same. If caught early in stage 4, time of survival could be quite a bit longer. The one sure thing is that sooner or later, stage 4 pancreatic cancer is going to win.
I have stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer. 5 year survival rate is about 50%, but it’s been 7+ years for me and I am responding extremely well. I expect to be around for the cure or die of something else.
