Fauci ‘stunned’ that Trump supporters booed former president over booster shot

Dr. Anthony Fauci said Sunday he was “stunned” to see some members of a crowd of Trump supporters boo the former president for getting a coronavirus booster shot.

Dr. Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, said the footage left him “dismayed.”

“I was stunned by that, I mean, given the fact of how popular [former President Trump] is with that group that they would boo him, which tells me how recalcitrant they are about being told what they should do,” Dr. Fauci said on ABC’s ” This Week.” “I think his continuing to say that people should get vaccinated and articulating that to them in my mind is a good thing and I hope he keeps it up.”

During a tour with former Fox personality Bill O’Reilly, Mr. Trump was met with a smattering of boos when he shared with a crowd in Dallas he received the coronavirus booster shot.

My sister-in-law died Thursday morning 12/23 at 3:50am from Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease that started 4 days after she received the Pfizer “booster” shot. She deteriorated over 3 months. Her first symptoms were slight gait disturbances which progressed to total paralysis the week after Thanksgiving. She was definitively diagnosed on Wednesday 12/15 when the results from her lumbar puncture were positive for protein 14-3-3 tau. She was sent home on hospice on 12/16.

Please explain what adverse effects happen to children who have not had the vaccine and get covid? And then please explain what adverse effects happen to someone who has recovered from covid

I was referring to adverse effects from the vaccine, not Covid. I am opposed to forced vaccination of anyone - child or adult. As to why they are pushing vaccination for children, I don't know. My guess is children, although generally safe from severe effects of covid themselves because of their strong immune systems, act as 'disease vectors', ie spreaders. Children for example frequently bring infections home to their parents from school, even during non Covid times. Vaccinating children would supposedly limit that pathway. But as we are seeing the vaccines are not proving to be effective against the spread of Omicron so I am not sure there is any benefit. I was however in favor of vaccination in the early (pre Delta) phase when they proved to be very effective.
