I recently checked the local hospital near my house in Colorado. It showed the hospital at 46% percent full and half of the ICU beds empty. The giant Trama 1 hospital a few miles was only reporting about 60% full.
Colorado is just about a month past the peak of its big Delta wave, and Omicron has not yet had its boom there yet. Maybe in another week or so.
