Trump is in great health and could easily run again in 2 years. Yes, the candidates will start running off to Iowa less than 2 years from now.
And I 100% Trump “encouraging” people to get vaccinated. The same as I would support anyone “encouraging” people to get their flu shot each year.
I am just against mandates, vaccine mandates, mask mandates, business mandates, school closing mandates, ect.
No argument from me on the vax or mandates. I agree 100% on that.
The thing about the age is something I am basing on personal experience—not just because of Biden. I know that when you reach a certain age, you “lose some speed off your fastball” and this is before any other underlying medical issues will just drop on you.
I’ve shepherded some pretty sharp folks into their 80’s. It never ended well.
Of course, people will read this and immediately think I have someone else in mind. I don’t. I’ve thought this for year. I just don’t think many folks over the age of 70 should be running countries.
Just as the 1970s were a time for the old folks to move out of the way for our generation...we should start looking at the depth of our political bench for some fresh talent.
My non support of Trump is mostly based on that aspect. I also don’t think he would get through the primary season, nor a general election. That would be a disaster for the country.
