It's a hard lesson taught but not yet learned ... so the Salvation Army's woes continue. Although they've acknowleged (somewhat) what they did, this organization has yet to ask for forgiveness for what they've done -- done not just to themselves but to a couple of hundred million good people. Then they must
act on it (that is, atone for what they've done).
Forgiveness is a process ... it is not "automatic" as the modern concept of forgiveness has devolved into.
