If she becomes enough of a liability for the Democrats, she'll be offered a generous sinecure, probably "teaching law" or some such at any university she cares to name. Lifetime tenure in an "endowed chair," a salary at least 50% higher than she's getting in office, and a bare minimum of "teaching duties," which she will shirk without comment or complaint from the school. Probably also a "housing allowance" and other goodies. Money for this will come from who knows where.
