This is the same “mothering protection” that created the little monster that never learned consequences of actions.

Had an ex like that. She would get in my face and never let her son, my stepson, experience discipline.

Best day of my life was when she left me.

Sad ending though in that her lazy son could never deal with reality and took his life by suicide 12 years later at age 28.
