Sounds like a good opportunity for someone to form Retrotruck a company that only makes non electronic gas powered trucks with carburetors, distributors, and three pedal transmissions
Great idea, alas it’s probably illegal.
By roundabout way, that is arguably why EVs do so well: using next-gen tech to come back around to the basics of motor and not much else, inherently bypassing the costly requirements of MPG, emissions control, etc.
