Yep, I drive a truck and that’s happened to me before. It ticks me off to no end because it’s completely unnecessary, the only reason we have to put this sh*t in the truck is so people like AlHole Gore can make money and if you run low on the crap it’s very hard to find a gas station or store that sells it.

Or what has happened to me twice already the DEF pump fails and of course the truck shuts down and a tow truck has to be called because God forbid I should drive a truck with no DEF a few miles to a garage. This is all about money, just like the vaccine, just like Obamacare, mandating people buy something is extremely profitable.

The DEF fluid debacle has struck me as well.

DEF fluid sensors in the tank froze up a few winters ago. Major PITA.

Keep a quart or, if you have room, a gallon of DEF in your truck, specifically for such emergencies. Only use it for than, not regular fills (but swap out every so often to keep it fresh). Much easier and cheaper than possibly having to wait for a tow and pay for it.
