Sly And The Family Stone could.....

Yeah, not showing up for concerts when thousands of people have paid and are waiting to see you because you're doing blow and can't be bothered didn't do Sly's career much good.

Yeah, it was about 50/50 that that screwball would show up when and where for anything he was supposed to.

I remember seeing Sly Stone on the Letterman show a couple of times when David was still at NBC. The last time Stone wasn’t sounding good and admitted he was living in a friend’s basement while trying to get a band together. Seems no one with talent wanted anything to do with him.
His estimated worth currently is $200,000. Damned shame for someone who made the money he did.
Drugs suck up the money quick.
