IMO, PELOSI has plans to become VP once BIDEN is out of the picture. The President and Vice President cannot come from the same state.
Both PELOSI and HARRIS live in California.

California electors could not vote for Harris-Pelosi unless one of them moved to a different state - but there is no such restriction in the 25th Amendment
