About a neighbor who was stalking me and going on my property a responding deputy told me, (approximatly) “I realize he’s acting crazy. But if you respond in any way, I’ll arrest you.” I asked why and he said, “That’s the way it is.”

I bought concealed carry insurance. One of the things they warn you about is never make any threats. Never show your gun. Never post a sign warning anything like, “trespassers will be shot.”

Just about anything you might think is okay will get you into prison if you shoot someone.
