Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is sponsoring a bill to grant Kyle Rittenhouse the Congressional Gold Medal, the highest honor the legislative branch can bestow.
The Georgia Republican introduced the bill Tuesday following Rittenhouse's acquittal of all charges in the killing of two men during riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin, last year. The bill's summary says the legislation will "award a Congressional Gold Medal to Kyle H. Rittenhouse, who protected the community of Kenosha, Wisconsin, during a Black Lives Matter (BLM) riot on August 25, 2020."

So I take it that you aren’t a fan of the VERY few Republicans who possess a spine. You believe that Real Americans should be “nice” to the Left and the RINO’s (same thing).
You believe that Republicans should always take the “high road” and to never get in the faces of our enemies. On the contrary, we should continuously remain in their faces and make their lives a living, breathing Hell.
You must be a fan of weak, spineless traitors such as China Mitch, Little Ben Sassy, Tim Scott, Linda Graham, Kevin McCarthy, etc. There are too many GOP cowards to mention. That’s why I’m no longer a Republican.

You take wrong. Republicans should never be afraid to speak the truth or advocate for the right policies simply because it makes the left angry. People like Senator Kennedy, Representative Jim Jordan, Governor DeSantis, Sara Huckabee-Sanders, etc., are sharp people who say smart things and speak the truth regardless of who it offends. I love that. Republicans should be fearless when it comes to saying things that need to be said.
MTG is the bargain basement version of those people. She says stupid things for the sole purpose of aggravating the left. So sure, trying to award Kyle a medal will aggravate the left. But it is also a stupid idea on its own because she's just using a kid who was forced to take someone else's life as political fodder. It's revolting. He's not a hero because he shot someone. He's a young man who was forced at a very young age to take lives, and that's always a sad thing even if it was the right thing to do. He deserves support, but having a medal attached to his name will just make his life that much harder.
