According to a story in the DM, Arbery was diagnosed with Schizoaffective Disorder after a confrontation with his mother where he refused to let go of her car keys. And, again according to that story, trace amounts of THC were found in his blood. If true, may or may not have had anything to do with his reaction.
That said, it looks like the jury made the right decision.
If in fact Arbery had a mental disorder, he might have had a childish interest on how the building was progressing. As a child I used to like to look in on construction, and spent hours watching the black family men doing the bricks on the brick duplexes across the street. I have since laid some bricks, and at 83 am still doing some renovation work. My brother is also an architect. PS: I am a woman.
