I'm glad I lived to be able to retire. Plenty of my co-workers, who were younger than me, didn't. When I took the job, they told us the life expectancy of a C.O. was 58. I promised myself then and there, that I wasn't going to be doing the State any favors, and die while I was still working for them.
The post retirement life expectancy when I joined was 18 months.18 months!I am going to do my damnedest to screw up their bell shaped curve!
