Officials are trying to understand why some of LA's highest coronavirus case rates are currently in communities with high vaccination rates.
During a two-week period ending Nov. 6, several of the Los Angeles County communities with the highest rates of coronavirus cases are also communities that have higher than average vaccination rates. Authorities aren't quite sure why that would be. Differences in behavior or waning immunity from vaccines may be factors. People in those communities may also have lower levels of natural immunity due to historically low levels of coronavirus exposure.
Department of Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer said authorities are trying to examine what factors are in play in individual communities that have above-average vaccination rates but still had among the highest new-case rates. One common denominator appears to be age. Younger people are driving this pandemic, Ferrer said.

Three of these cities have a high latino population and in SoCal latinos have been hit harder by covid. There’s no agreement on why. Large families that like to get together or some genetic predisposition have been considered.

California incurred 4,141 COVID deaths in September 2021, compared to 2,067 such deaths in September 2020 (i.e., an increase of 100%). For October 2021, California incurred 2,456 COVID deaths, compared to 1,459 COVID deaths in October 2020 (i.e., an increase of 68%).

The medical officials are morons! They don’t want to admit the obvious. The mRNA vaccines weaken the immune system making one more susceptible to the covid variants and other diseases. That’s why we have had more deaths this year with the vaccines than all of last year when there were none!
