Littoral feet is in shambles, with early ships having problems that cannot be economically corrected and so sent to scrap. Later ships may be OK, but are aluminum and burn easily - their seaworthiness is not all that great.
DD-1000 class is a total failure ; any ‘stealth’ they may have had was destroyed by all the add-ons ; what role they will play is still undetermined - perhaps a missile platform, without any defensive armament.
The Navy should have been building frigates instead of either monstrosity.
