“Wow, so stupid. If someone is trying to kill you I would expect one would use every means necessary. Surely the jury is not that craven or stupid?”

It is all about whatever small legal technicalities they can muster up, even if they make absolutely no rational sense at all.

They are brainwashed. Over half the country is. But that is why this case is so important. It is going to set future precedent concerning the right of self defense. If the state prevails, this case will be used in future cases to remove the right of self defense and we will just “have to take your beating” as the prosecution implies and hope we live through it. It is another step towards outlawing self defense.

It has been a long time effort to make everyone a helpless victim. It aids in the population reduction agenda. The other half of the plan is to pretty much legalize crime. If you notice this has been happening also, prison releases, letting them walk free with no jail time, release with no bond, importing criminals, Etc. Even in this case the prosecution is defending the criminal rioters right to conduct criminal activity and beat who they like.

Pro-criminal activity and anti-self defense. All by design...

It will give ANTIFA and BLM terrorists free reign as well. Don’t even dare to defend yourself with a gun if assailed upon by rioters. I suspect this is what Democrats want. The militarization of its foot soldiers.

The only thing I think was unwise was going down there and inserting himself into the riot. He should have stayed home. So maybe some minor charge around disturbing the peace or unlawful possession is in order?
