The only credible scenario I’ve read is that the Dems force Breyer to retire and put Kamalamadingdong on the SC.

(by getting a couple squishy Rs to vote to confirm her since it wouldn’t change the “philosophical” balance.)

Then SOMEBODY takes her place.

Then SlowJoe “retires”.

And SOMEBODY is POTUS.

It’s time for Joe’s annual physical. 25th Amendment. Then things get messy

They may be maneuvering to put Pelosi into the presidency.

Biden is going to resign due to ‘medical” issues. Kamala will be POTUS. This has been an experiment.

Some insiders are likely plotting along those lines as we speak. The squishy R’s would know the predicate, and have to be in on the whole package from the start. In theory, this might even be a good thing for the country, since both Biden and Harris should not be in executive government. In a sane world, a competent, experienced, consensus candidate would emerge, that everyone would be at least ok with, and that person would serve without pushing a political agenda. I can’t think of such a person, ourselves excepted of course.
