Rep. Lance Gooden, R-Texas, said Monday that he has uncovered a secret operation by nonprofits to house and move migrants within the United States, providing them with a packet on how to navigate and assimilate into the country.
During an appearance on "Fox & Friends" Monday, Gooden said that he was contacted by a whistleblower from San Diego who provided him with details on the kind of information the nonprofit groups were providing to the migrants.
The Texas representative subsequently hopped on a plane and discovered that abandoned hotels in the California city were being utilized as shelters for the migrants. Some of the locations he mentioned included The Four Points by Sheraton [San Diego], a Wyndham and a Ramada Inn.
"I managed to get in the gates, I demanded entry once and was refused. I talked a guard into letting me in on another occasion and when I was in there I saw busses pulling up, probably about 100 migrants over an hour got off of these busses," said Gooden.
Gooden said that upon arrival the migrants were "welcomed by people with open arms" before being processed, tested for COVID and then handed packets.
"This packet is what I received from the whistleblower a few weeks ago," said Gooden. "And these packets detail how to go to the airport, how to get past TSA without any identification, how to enroll your children in schools and assimilate in whatever community you desire to go in."
The Texas lawmaker said he spoke to TSA about the packets and it informed him that migrants sometimes show up with "very convincing letters" and in some cases are let on the airplane before anyone else.

NOTHING prevents the State Legislature from ELIMINATING any and All TAX exemptions for any charitable organization involved in Alien Smuggling.
ELIMINATE ALL TAX EXEMPTIONS for these “charities” Assess the Property they own and FORCE them to start paying Property Taxes for a start. Then TAX thier Contributions also

Most people know that our current policies effectively incentivize illegal border crossings, and they are not surprised either when the ops basically cross the line of conspiratorial. If you have to do it under the cloak of darkness, you are admitting your guilt.
Then there are the (slowly dwindling) number of democrat loyalists who are willing to sell the souls that they don’t have to win elections who would bend away from common sense and the blatantly obvious and actually claim that nothing is wrong.

On the part of some. Most of those organizations are Christian (both Protestant and Catholic), and see caring for the poor as Christian duty, no matter what they have done previously to their current state.
I R Catholic, and a member of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, and admit to being torn....outraged by the illegality, but still seeing the need to serve the poor.

This sort of activity was right up the alley of Catholic Charities and represented a huge chunk of the annual revenue of any major Catholic diocese or archdiocese you would care to name during resident Obama’s eight years occupying 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Dollars to donuts these same actors are up to the same hijinks once again during the Brandon administration.
You can serve the poor without breaking immigration laws.
Ultimately it comes down to people thinking they they shouldn’t have to obey laws. That includes laws against identity theft too, for illegal aliens heavily trade in those crimes once they are here.
Whatever bandaid they put on top of that fact to help the live with it better is only just that, a bandaid, an excuse to justify.
This isn’t too difficult to solve. There are lots of abandoned hotels in Memphis. Send them there. After a week or so they will want to go home.
Don't be played for a chump by Catholic Charities or whomever. They sold out to El Jorge Arbusto with his "Faith-based initiatives". It's all about the money now.

Does anyone have a handle on the costs the taxpayers will have to pay for illegals housing, food, clothing, transportation, medical care, welfare payments, education, and justice system requirements...prisons?
The younger voters should be informed of the costs they will have to carry for the rest of their lives.
I know from being inside that at least with SVDP, it is not. Their focus is totally local.Maybe not so much with other groups, or umbrella groups. My thinking is along the lines of another poster, which is to send them directly back home.
Working to bypass legality is my personal stopping point.

Nothing new. It has been going on for years. Classes are held in foreign countries on how to get into the US and use the system for welfare/medical/freebies. Nothing new.
Unfortunately, Christian doctrine (whether Catholic or Protestant) says a Christian must serve them in both places. God does not distinguish. Neither can I. The only allowable point is how far such service can go in which place. As I see it, the minimum is to see that they are housed and fed in my country or theirs.
