The virtue of the vaccination has been greatly oversold. It is much like wearing a string of garlic cloves to repel vampires.
The vampires are not that great a menace to most of the potential victims, and the garlic does not confer that much protection anyway.
But the fear porn generated, ah, that is a powerful tool indeed. Almost a phobia.
