Why are COVID Cases Spiking? Again…

Watching the news, one sees constant stories about COVID numbers rising, yet again, now almost two years into this pandemic, with COVID hospitalizations in some states higher than they have ever been except for the spike last December. In my state of Colorado, the test positivity rate is almost 10 percent, with 1 in 48 infected and if the current trend continues, this will be the worst COVID spike the state has seen.

On the surface, that doesn’t make sense, since nearly 80 percent of eligible Coloradans have received at least one vaccine dose, suggesting the vaccines are not working as well as they should or as advertised, or that vaccine immunity is waning, hence the push for booster injections.

Scarier still is that Colorado officials reinstated “crisis standards of care” for hospital staffing, allowing hospitals and other facilities to stretch limited personnel and use volunteers, including National Guard and family members, to help care for hospitalized patients. Colorado hospitals are already turning away patients based on an executive order by Gov. Jared Polis.

Neighboring New Mexico is in the same boat, also instituting “crisis standards of care.” Their case counts have climbed 19 percent over the past two weeks.

ICU beds are in desperately short supply, with fewer than 100 beds currently available in Colorado as reported by the Denver Post. Are we headed to a situation where patients will be treated in hallways or sent away from overcrowded hospitals to fend for themselves? COVID made its debut in America in March 2020, now 20 months later, when we should be reaching herd immunity, the situation as dire as it was in the beginning.

“How many beds were taken out of use due to staff shortages?”

Bingo. That is the type of critical thinking that almost never gets done. Why? Liars use contrived stats to push THE NARRATIVE and/or many simply DO NOT know how to think properly. It’s a pandemic of stupid.

“I’m starting to believe that’s part of the plan to keep this stuff going.”

DO NOT FORGET, many of the court cases related to voting laws and future voting laws changes are in process. The RATS and establishment GOP need a continuing pandemic to justify mail in voting, ballet harvesting, cheat drop off boxes, etc.

I don’t think that disclaimer is meant for the reading audience, but instead the medical boards and licensing organizations.

Good question - one to keep in mind as we hear about ‘over capacity’.

I demand a scientific study of why Sweden is so different.

The breakthrough cases are close to half the new infections? If they were exactly half would that mean that the vaccine does not work at all?

I have already had the possibility of having a FOURTH shot proposed to me by a pharmacist. I politely said NOPE.
If three isn’t enough, four won’t be either.

Yep. They move in with family and friends who are also illegals and work in homes and businesses such as cleaning, painting, lawn work, etc. They spread COVID and only go to the ER when they are so sick they have no other choice. ER personnel know this.

Less staff means less hospital beds and creates a crisis that shouldn’t exist.

Also, hospitals typically run at near to full capacity because, from a business perspective (something we often forget applies to even hospitals) it is not economical to maintain a large inventory of open beds and the accompanying costs square footage, utilities, security and so forth.

In our small church in Maine (under 60) we had 18 come down with covid (from different sources: school, work, eye DR appt.) in the past 3 weeks.
17 of the 18 who tested positive had mild to regular flu type symptoms and are over it. The 18th had much more coughing and breathing issues which a nebulizer and vaporizer took care of.
Now with close to 30 through the COVID maybe we are at herd immunity.

Another round and batch of bad tests. Nothing more.

How do we know that it wasn’t the flu? I ask because I heard that the test can pick-up flu and colds as well as COVID.

Good question. Each home had some lack of taste and smell (2 hrs - 2 days). The biggest factor was fatigue. Only 1 of them was over 50.
They had tests at Walgreens or the at home test and false positives are possible.

# Never see video of these conditions. You would think it would be everywhere.

That’s because the beds are empty. They just can’t staff them because the people actually dealing with people who have been injected with the experimental drugs are refusing to participate in the experiment.

Thanks for the response. I might add that, every time I get a cold, I have problems smelling and tasting.

Because it’s a socialist commie weapon that can be sprayed etc into any nonconforming community. Or into a community scared crapless to incite against the nonconforming. Would our gov do that? Hell YES!!! See Russiagate/impeachments!!!

Last week the CDC reported 75,000 CoVID deaths over 3 days.

They’ve got to stretch this B.S. into next year for the mid-terms. This helps their fraud efforts immensely.

And now the rationale for the 100 employee cut off specified by OSHA is now exposed: illegal alien family and friends businesses don't have as many as 100 employees. OSHA would have a hell of a time enforcing their rule with such companies. Everyone in them are LEO adverse, why shouldn't they be OSHA adverse?
