I’m guessing that no more high-rise buildings of significance will be built in the Northeast quadrant of the US for many years. You can’t move them.

I'm guessing that no more high-rise buildings of significance will be built in the Northeast quadrant of the US for many years. You can't move them.

It's very strange, but new high-rises, skyscrapers and supertalls continue to be built in NYC. Don't ask me what they're for.

Global investors keep investing there. Perhaps they expect a bunch of replacement people.

The whole point of cities was pretty much obsolete by the year 2000, given the tech boom and other things before that, like trucks and highways.

The only question now is what to do with the relics.
