THE O’KEEFE PROJECT: AN UPDATE

The New York Times has now published its fourth story on the investigation of James O’Keefe and Project Vertitas in connection with their possession of the diary of Ashley Biden. The otherwise questionable authenticity of the diary can be inferred from the involvement of the FBI. It has somehow become a federal case in the Age of Biden.

Today’s story is “Project Veritas Tells Judge It Was Assured Biden Diary Was Legally Obtained.” Subhead: “But a search warrant in the case suggests the Justice Department believes the diary kept by the president’s daughter Ashley Biden was stolen.” The story is by Times reporters Michael Schmidt and Adam Goldman with the assistance of researchers Susan C. Beachy and Matthew Cullen. That amounts to four cooks in the kitchen to produce what turns out to be thin gruel.

Lawyers for Project Veritas have obtained a court order dated Novemeber 11 requiring the FBI to confirm it had “paused” extraction of contents from O’Keefe’s seized cell phones. Yesterday the Times published excerpts of memos by counsel advising Project Veritas on legal boundaries applicable to its work.

The Times was immediately tipped to the raids conducted by the FBI on O’Keefe et al. last week. The Times reported on the raids in stories here (November 5, correction appended) and here (November 6, updated November 12). The Times quotes witnesses to the raids. It leaves unmentioned any tips to the Times from the FBI or higher-ups in the world of the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York or the Biden Department of Justice.

The third Times story (November 11) quotes from legal memos by attorneys advising Project Veritas. I inferred that the memos or the excerpts had been leaked to the Times by its friends in the FBI. Project Veritas

Streisand effect. Now people have confirmation that the diary is real. Biden people had denied that. Now let’s post what’s in it as a verified public record.

The level of sleaze here is astounding. NYT posted famously the stolen Pentagon Papers on the origin of the Vietnam War. They went to the SCOTUS over it and won against Nixon.

Now here they are a tool of the FBI/Deep State Dem machine publishing the confidential communications between a member of the press and their attorney. What was the “crime”? Veritas trying to verify the law so they could comply with it.

Note that with the warrant and FBI grabbing everything there they now have a legal right to look over everything and find any unrelated crimes.

But what did they find?

A reporter asking their lawyers how to properly follow the law.

And that’s the “scandal”?

A new low for the NYT.

This latest bombshell just in: The FBI has announced that, in its inspection of the stolen Ashley diary, a note fell out of one of the pages, and it read, “This diary has been stolen.”

The legendary G-men have again saved the world.

Totnan Klar's tweet - "FBI confirms Ashley Biden diary is authentic. In it she writes about being sexualized at a young age and taking "inappropriate" showers with her father, Joe Biden. #LetsGoBrandon " -

Joe eyeing Ashley........and where was her mother Jill?

Much ado, finally, about something. There was the spin that it was fake when it circulated online in summer of 2020. This new attention assures its survival and and guarantees a new audience and validates that it was not fake.

That diary was stunning, sickening, and sad...just the the Biden family itself. What a mess. Almost makes you feel sorry for any of those pathetic thugs born into that evil family.

The Biden family most definitely IS messed up.

As for Hunter, if Joe Biden was my father I’d probably be on drugs, too.

According to a comment on the original article, the FBI raid was justified as a search for stolen property taken across state lines.

So if someone steals a can of beans from a store in Spokane, WA, and a witness sees the can of beans loaded into a vehicle with Idaho license plates and records the license plate number, the FBI will get a warrant, send ten agents to the Idaho house associated with that license plate, and - in an early morning raid - smash in the front door of the house to look for the stolen can of beans?

I was involved in an issue/case where i published information the person who threatened to sue me claimed was copyrighted and privilege material. (Won’t get into it).

The law is pretty clear- if i went and stole the information then published a story about it- i am screwed. Yet if someone gave me the information and i published a story about it- i am in the clear. I believe this was ruled upon by the Supreme Court.

Among the many examples, i would scream and yell about the Pentagon Papers if i am a PV lawyer.

My understanding is that when O’Keefe couldn’t verify the diary, he either offered it or gave it to law enforcement. Can anyone clarify?

It seems so long ago but Comey leaked classified info to the to his legal professor buddy so he could hand it off to the NY Times and spark a special counsel to investigate Trump.
