I’m just a realist and deal with the options set before me. But lawsuits are just beginning. It will take a while for them to work through the system—I advise the unvaxxed to hold out as long as possible, and request a religious exemption. Kaiser is approving them I hear.
But I want to go to Canada next summer, and to England next fall. I don’t think other countries who have vax requirements of travelers are entertaining exemption requests from Americans.
Reasons for getting vaxxed are many, and can be (sadly) merely practical (not medical).
I’ve also met someone in my area who is using a fake vax card to get into restaurants (in the SF Bay Area). I’ve noticed that 90% of restaurants in my area are ignoring the mandate anyway.
Employers will allow exemptions I think. Cal State approved half of their students’ exemption requests.
We just adjust as needed. When they start on this side of the hill, we will adjust some more. Best of luck with your travel plans.
