The real question is how much this loss affects the infrastructure/spending bills in the house and senate.
It might get enough Dems worried enough to backoff altogether.

My thinking also. A good number of those Dem congresspeople are in blueish areas, and political job offers in trade for votes and taking an election loss are not very valuable when made by people who won’t be able to deliver.
