The public’s trust in news outlets is among the lowest in the free world, a trend that has spiraled downward for years and appears to continue to do so.
Regardless if it is trust in legacy or alternative media, the decline since President Joe Biden took office has registered in double digits, according to the latest I&I/TIPP Media Trust Index shared with Secrets.
In the I&I/TIPP survey, just 38% trusted establishment media, such as the Washington Post. And only 29% said it trusted alternative news sources, including conservative outlets.
Those numbers aren’t good. "Trust in media is in free fall," said the survey.

On most days, we Americans go about our daily lives without much attention to politics and its impact on our lives. Part of the reason is we hope that no matter how far afield our government goes at any one time, we usually right our ourselves by the next election cycle. That was then, not now.
Quite frankly, we now mistrust most of the media, whether it’s the newspapers, tv, or social media. They all do a lousy job of informing us. But then again, as Mark Twain famously said,-âÂÂIf you donâÂÂt read the newspapers, you are uninformed. If you do read the newspapers, you are misinformed.âÂÂ
the decline since President Joe Biden took office has registered in double digits unsurprisingly. Media assisted in stealing the votes for Trump and lied continually throughout his term.....they cut their own throats for anyone to trust in their prefabricated news stories or anything else.
Associated Press piece on an AP poll. Trump understood this:
18 April 2016: Breitbart: Poll: Just 6 Percent of People Say They Trust the Media
WASHINGTON (AP) — Trust in the news media is being eroded by perceptions of inaccuracy and bias, fueled in part by Americans’ skepticism about what they read on social media.
Just 6 percent of people say they have a lot of confidence in the media, putting the news industry about equal to Congress and well below the public’s view of other institutions. In this presidential campaign year, Democrats were more likely to trust the news media than Republicans or independents...
Faced with ever-increasing sources of information, Americans also are more likely to rely on news that is up-to-date, concise and cites expert sources or documents, according to a study by the Media Insight Project, a partnership of The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research and the American Press Institute...
Nearly 90 percent of Americans say it’s extremely or very important that the media get their facts correct, according to the study. About 4 in 10 say they can remember a specific incident that eroded their confidence in the media, most often one that dealt with accuracy or a perception that it was one-sided...
The poll of 2,014 adults was conducted Feb. 18-March 21 with funding from the American Press Institute. It used a sample drawn from NORC’s probability-based AmeriSpeak panel, which is designed to be representative of the U.S. population. The margin of sampling error for all respondents is plus or minus 2.9 percentage points.
Respondents were first selected randomly using address-based sampling methods, and later interviewed online or by phone.

I would actually trust Pravda and Isvestia before I would trust CBSNBCABCCNNMSNBCWahingtonPostNewYorkTimesNPR.
I actually used to read the online English version of Pravda pretty often as well as a lot of other foreign news sources.
It's a real eye opener if you keep the mindset that all news sources are propaganda and none of them should be trusted.
Most media is just activism for satanic worldly causes.
There must be some push back toward the colleges who grant degrees in “journalism”, which has just become propaganda.
Propagandist should die.
