Should people with natural immunity be exempt from vaccine mandates? New bill introduced in Congress argues yes. Health experts say no.

COVID-19 vaccine mandates shouldn’t apply to people with immunity acquired through infection, suggest sponsors of the ‘’Natural Immunity Is Real Act.”

Experts on bioethics and immunology disagree, and note that there is little to no debate in the scientific community about the existence of natural immunity, gained by infection from exposure to disease, rather than by vaccination, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Many studies suggest natural immunity fades over time, and a vaccine improves immunity in people who have already had COVID-19.

“This is bad science, dangerous policy and saddest of all, ideology tricked out as ethics,” said Kenneth Goodman, director of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Institute for Bioethics and Health Policy and the Florida Bioethics Network.

The bill, introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives on Monday by Republican Rep. Diana Harshbarger, asks that federal regulations take into account natural immunity to COVID-19. Discussion by the bill’s sponsors indicates it is one of the latest objections to COVID-19 vaccine mandates in the U.S.

Tension is especially high in Florida, where Gov. Ron DeSantis on Thursday announced he would call a special session of the Legislature in November to ban local governments and agencies from mandating COVID-19 vaccines. He has also threatened to sue President Joe Biden’s administration over its mandate for some businesses to vaccinate or test workers for COVID-19. In the meantime, multiple Florida congressmen endorsed this bill, which is unlikely to pass in the Democrat-controlled House. The bill has also been introduced in the Senate.

“No American should be forced to choose between getting the COVID vaccine or keeping their job,” said Florida’s eighth district Rep. Bill Posey. Posey and Rep. Daniel Webster, Florida’s 11th district representative, are co-sponsoring the bill in the house alongside nine other Republican congressmen

So "medical experts" now say the entire science of Vaccination that been around for over 200 years is a falsehood? I guess they totally forgot what a vaccine actually is suppose to be.

Vaccination:

treatment with a vaccine to produce immunity against a disease; inoculation.

Vaccines train our immune systems to create proteins that fight disease, known as ‘antibodies’, just as would happen when we are exposed to a disease

The experts have to be more credible than Dr. Malone for me to listen to them. Not a chance they are.

How would they know, or how would you test people for natural immunity? Antibody test everyone? Or take people’s word?

A lot of people think they had it and some know for sure

I’ve been saying for months that our blood tests show my wife who was infected in Oct 2020 and Moderna jabbed in Dec ‘20 and Fed ‘21 has 1/2 the antibody count that I have. I had fauciflu in Oct 2020 and NO JABS. My AB count has been off the scale @ >2500 since first tested in June 2021, our August tests shows hers is at 1400. We get tested again in early Nov ‘21.

Chickenpox - No CDC documents contain the word "booster." From WebMD:

Who Should Get Vaccinated With the Chickenpox Vaccine?

The chickenpox vaccine is recommended for all children under age 13 who have not had chickenpox. It is also recommended for all adolescents and adults who have not been vaccinated and have not had chickenpox.

If you have had chickenpox, there is no need for you to get the vaccine.

From Wikipedia:

Duration of immunity

The long-term duration of protection from varicella vaccine is unknown, but there are now persons vaccinated twenty years ago with no evidence of waning immunity, while others have become vulnerable in as few as six years...

according to the World Health Organization: "After observation of study populations for periods of up to 20 years in Japan and 10 years in the United States, more than 90% of immunocompetent persons who were vaccinated as children were still protected from varicella."

Measles, Mumps, and Rubella - from Immunization Action Coalition Ask The Experts (www.immunize.org):

Do any adults need "booster" doses of MMR vaccine to prevent measles?

No. Adults with evidence of immunity do not need any further vaccines. No "booster" doses of MMR vaccine are recommended for either adults or children. They are considered to have life-long immunity once they have received the recommended number of MMR vaccine doses or have other evidence of immunity.

Diphtheria, tetanus, and acellular pertussis - From the Mayo Clinic:

Children 10 years of age and older, and adults, may need an additional immunization called a booster against diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis. Adults and teenagers should receive Tdap instead of the tetanus-diphtheria (Td) injection if it has been 10 years or more since their last tetanus-diphtheria vaccine.

“ many studies suggest”

Now there’s some strong reasons to risk your longterm health.

Other studies “ suggest” this experimental genetic manipulation is taking down natural immunity and this has been proven in animal studies and long before these egotistical profit-driven bureaucrats like Fraudci persuaded gullible politicians to go along with this mass vaxxx agenda

I mostly blame Obamacare for turning health care into just another federal government money racket.

This is a very jumbled story that borders on fake news.

Also, Dr. Goodman is not a MD. He is also a quack ethicist in my opinion despite the fact that he has a PhD in something.

I’ve read several articles claiming that natural immunity is much better than the “immunity” (ha-ha) offered by the “vaccines.”

BIG bump to Republican Rep. Diana Harshbarger for introducing this. ‘bout time.

Just a mild influenza with a cough that lasts quite a while and a low grade fever, there are worse strains. Had it.

“At EUROIMMUN, we also offer an ELISA* that is coated with a modified nucleocapsid protein (NCP). In this assay, we have removed unspecific epitopes from the full-length N protein enabling the NCP-based ELISA to detect specific antibodies to the SARS-CoV-2 virus. This assay could be helpful in discriminating a natural infection from that arising due to S1-based vaccination, indicating a potential role in vaccine studies. Additionally, combining assays for the detection of antibodies against S1 and NCP can increase confidence when assessing presence of antibodies against the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Both these assays could play an important role in assessing the immune status of an individual before and after vaccine administration.”
