Be careful what you pray for if you pray for a strong man to take over. For men will say anything to take power and once the Republic is abolished, it is much harder to remove a tyrant should he fail to live up to his promises than under a republican form of government. There is NO man I would trust to run our country, not even Trump, without the restraints placed on him by the US Constitution.
