"They rule with arrogance, suggesting that they have no fear of being voted out. I have been a GOP committee member for many years. As the insidious creep of single-party politics has taken hold in our area, it has become harder and harder to get people to run for local (or county office). This year we were unsuccessful in recruiting any candidates for school board. People who considered running: 1) didn't want to put themselves and their school age children through the resulting abuse from local D's; 2) didn't believe they would participate in a free election. I have personally witnessed enough to agree with both points. This is a very big and entrenched problem. I will continue to serve and to vote, but I feel like I'm treading water at this point. With such deep corruption (in both parties) it is difficult to get any traction. Moderate D's are encountering abuse as well, and therein may lie a small silver lining in our political cloud"

That is a really disheartening report and shows that the Left's endless, in your face, aggression is working. Even your small silver lining is discouraging. Why would a moderate Democrat endure the same aggression when conservatives won't. The Fascists and Communists are winning and running out the clock while they flood the country with replacement third worlders. Sigh.

The corruption is deep but mostly in the demonrat party! Once we sort that out and DJT is the man to do it, we can start getting back to normal again.
