I sure would like to know what that big unknown was today. I had 30 lb. spin with a couple of hundred yards on top and he stripped it off in less than two minutes.I was down to the bottom cupping the spool when he just ate it all.
Brought in no hook or lure only the end of a 50 lb. leader. Most likely a 40-60 lb. wahoo I would bet.As little as I get to go it was a good day.
That quick aid say Hoo also. The big ones can do that in a flash.
Shame you were t able to land him. One of our favorite eating fish that rarely shows up on our menus up here.
