They created this false media narrative where everything is failing because of Covid. In their world they believe everything is failing not because of their bad public and fiscal policies but because of Covid.
They really think everything will just work out ok for them if they find a way to end Covid.
It is utterly delusional. It Carter 2.0. We are going back to the 1970s economy because the people in power simply refuse to deal with the totally predictable results of out of control government spending and an easy money policy at almost everyone;s central banks
It looks a bit worse possibly. I got my start under Carter and did fine. The economy was producing and land prices easily outran inflation. But now the number seem to be forecasting a slowing of economic activity, we can all name the reasons.
Can’t tell how that will play out, so many variables are unpredictable these days.
