So let me see if I have this right. It is now being reported that 90+% of cases in the U.S. are the Delta variant. Pfizer, Moderna, and JandJ, don’t work on the Delta variant. But if you don’t take the jab they’re going to put you out of work, ostracize you from society, and generally ruin your life. Is that about the size of it?
The three vaccines work on delta as well as they work on the others, especially if they were recently received.
They will not work on R.1, which has the charming quality of evading the vaccines.
If we don’t keep R.1 from spreading, all the arguments pro and con vaccines will be moot so we can stop trying.
If we don’t keep it from spreading, only new science endeavors can help us now: Either a vaccine that can’t be evaded, or other preventives or remedies.
