Rep. Dan Crenshaw is facing a $5,000 fine for dodging the metal detectors inside the U.S. Capitol this week, joining the ranks of six other lawmakers who have also chosen to bypass the security screening.

Crenshaw voted no on impeachment. Crenshaw signed onto an amicus brief in the aftermath of the election in a lawsuit contesting the 2020 results.
