I stopped using baseboard heat years ago, will use the oil filed radiator heaters

wonderful heat of all electric heaters out there....and I saved money too.

Radiant heat can give you a sense of being warmer than it actually is.

It’s the same as radiant cooling, which you notice more in the winter when you stand in front of a window with no curtains.

The room air temperature will be the same in both cases, but radiant heat loss is a thing so it makes sense for you to actually need less heat when there’s a radiant source nearby.
