Enamel is on the inside.
I still use the 45 year old Le Creuset pots/pans that I inherited.
Never heard of them.....so they could actually go in the oven too! My BIL makes a mean pizza in the oven with cast iron skillet. Like me he has a few dishes he’s good at, and they are outstanding!
