I think the GOP learned their lesson and basically will clear the way for Liz. It will be one-on-one, Liz vs the MAGA candidate, whether that’s Trump himself or the heir apparent.
It’s going to be a nasty POTUS primary fight, I can’t even remember anything like it, not even 1980 with Bush’s “Voodoo Economics” remarks, will even come close to the nastiness we’re bound to see.

In 2016 Trump was leading early on, but still polling at 30% (at most), due to the large field. So people said that 70% of Republicans didn’t want Trump. We all quickly learned it was more like 85% of Republicans wanted Trump (90% of Cruz hadn’t made an ass of himself).
Cheney’s base of support within the part is TINY...she’ll be lucky to hit 20%. If they want an anti-Trump candidate, they’ll at least have to find one that doesn’t insult the base and pretty much supports the same issues as Trump.
STOP THIS CRAP. STOP THIS TALKING ABOUT THIS ISSUE OR THAT ISSUE.
This is personal. It’s about her. It’s not about anything her campaign staff manufactures as a way to draw Democrats to vote in the GOP primary. It’s about her. Her and nothing else.
Remove her. Here are the numbers:
2016 Primary GOP — a total of 88,000 votes cast. She won a plurality of 35,000. The next 3 candidates had significant numbers at 19K, 15K, 13K.
The Democrat primary had a total of 19,000 votes.
Her plan is to get the 19K Dem votes added to what she thinks she can keep from the Never Trumper total — and hopes that sums to over 44,000 to get 51% of the 88K.
There were 9 GOP candidates for that seat in 2016. As of now, only 1 is left after Trump made his pick and appeal.
Even with the Dem 18K, she’s in trouble.
And WITHOUT QUESTION, if she wins the nomination turn out en masse for the Dem.
It’s not about politics. It’s about her.
She can run. Only Dominion can help her win.
She doesn’t think Biden is violating his oath or the law by letting in millions of illegals.
