The honest truth is that so many blacks have open warrants on them, child support, unpaid tickets, and back taxes, etc. that they don't want to be tracked via voter ID. Seriously.

It might also explain the tendency of giving kids weird names with many possible alternative spellings. "Hey, I'm not the Loquisha Jones you're looking for, I'm LAquisha Jones!"
