I used to live on McGregor Range, not far from Dona Ana. There is a lot of empty desert around the Dona Ana Complex. There are also a lot of ants and coyotes living there. When a critter got hit by a vehicle, it wasn’t long before the ants and coyotes made the carcass pretty much disappear. I imagine the same would happen to a person.

Was stationed at Bliss twice. Every time I went to Dona Ana or White Sands I sometimes wondered about how many bodies might be ‘disappeared’ out there in the empty desert.
