DEL RIO, Texas (Reuters) -An impromptu border camp that roiled U.S. politics was emptied of thousands of Haitian migrants by Friday, with most remaining in the United States for now and others expelled on deportation flights or returned to Mexico.
Reuters witnesses said the shanty town-like jumble of makeshift shelters and tents had all but disappeared from Del Rio, Texas, with workers clearing the last debris from the banks of the Rio Grande bordering Mexico. Texas State Troopers lined the river bank to discourage new crossings.
U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said nearly 30,000 migrants had been encountered in Del Rio in the past two weeks.
More than 12,000 will have a chance to make their case for protection before a U.S. immigration judge, an estimated 8,000 voluntarily returned to Mexico, and 2,000 were expelled to Haiti. The fate of others detained is to be decided.
Thousands more Haitians were on the road through Central America, with others among around 16,000 awaiting boats into the jungles of the Darien Gap in Panama, a crucial bottleneck on the journey north.

Buses -> boat -> Haiti
So now they are SCATTERED around the U.S. in mostly red states spreading all of their diseases and getting all the freebies they want!
Sounds like a solid plan.
Ran into a guy at the gas station yesterday who works for ICE and he was pretty pissed off. Said they had been running buses full of Haitians to Louisiana, San Antonio, Dallas, etc day and night non-stop without checking if they were ill or had Covid or anything. Just dumping them in US cities as fast as they could.
D@mmit. 😡
So where to they stay. Cheap motels? On the street?
What a disaster, among many, of the Bye-done administration.

*******
Did you hurt him? Gas prices on the rise also it seems.
“...with most remaining in the United States for now.”
It’s all optics. Here’s what’s really going on:
Close the camp because of the bad PR. Temporarily move them to nearby “migrant centers.” Release them all into the U.S. within days or weeks.
5,000-6,000 unaccounted for by DHS numbers
Spreading infections as fast as they can. These are the actions of a government at war with its own citizenry.
Can you even imagine being one of the cleaning crew? You’d have to hazmat.
That’s nothing these people are calling Home telling the rest of their families to get down to the river bank as fast as they can. We are telegraphing to the world our country is open for more invaders. I am telling you people I have eyes and ears to the ground and they’re saying there’s at least between 20 to 30,000 invaders from Africa making their march towards the Rio grande. Told you not to believe anything that’s coming out of the Biden administration’s mouth. They’re evil from the pit of hell. That plane that flew to Haiti was just for optics to make it look like Biden’s government is working for us. They lied! They lied to you they lied to me they lied to everyone. 🤥😡
Sounds like a solid plan.
*****
Gov’t always has solid plans. The problem it is you and I plus
the other tax payers that have to foot the bill of that plan.
THAT IS A LIE!! They were ALL flown across the nation via military planes!!
Very sad. Has there ever been a point where temporary permission was revoked and people simply deported? What about rescinding work permits given to 10s of millions of people released into the US?
Chile must be heaving a sigh of relief to have them leave.
What camp? There was no physical camp.
These were Haitians who were resettled over a decade ago who are taking advantage of Biden's statements about the storm-affected Haitians.
It would sure be some good karma to have some of these Central and South American Haitians be sent back to Haiti after 10 years, instead of where they came from.

Texas Governor Abbott should have blocked any Haitians or other illegals. If Allen West was governor, here is his far better prescription as told to Tucker Carlson this week.
