I agree, they will not tell us that, not ever. Because no one knows. No one can know. When the envelopes are opened the ballots are separated, and there are no tracking identifiers on the ballots unless they are serialized to go through ballot duplication during tabulation. (ballot duplication is a legitimate process to recover voter intent from ballots which the tabulation machines won't read)
If duplicated, unsigned or otherwise bogus ballot envelopes are detected after the ballots have been separated, there is no remedy except a new election.
